St Margaret's Church in Halstead is part of a United Benefice with St Katharine's Church, Knockholt. We are two Church of England (Anglican) parishes in the Sevenoaks Deanery of the Diocese of Rochester, within the Canterbury Province. St Katharine's and St Margaret's came together in 1983 as a United Benefice under one parish priest. Our pattern of services reflects the fact that we are two parishes working closely together.

1st Sunday: 10.30am Family Service 2nd Sunday: 9.00am Choral Matins 3rd Sunday: 10.30am Family Communion 4th Sunday: 8.00am Holy Communion; 6pm (4pm in Winter) Holy Communion at BMMH

We have two thriving choirs, a Youth Choir and an Adult Choir, led by professional music teacher Clare Pollard, accompanied by our talented organist, Brian Shilling, following the RSCM's Voice for Life Scheme. For more information on our choirs and music, visit our website.

We also have strong children and youth outreach within our parishes, as well as many year-round events for parishioners and people of all ages from surrounding villages. Our many groups and fellowships include a Mens' Fellowship, Mothers' Union, St Margaret's Flower Team and a Churchyard Working Party.

A full history of St Margaret's along with sermons and articles is available on our website. We look forward to welcoming you to our parish.
